The Wells Company, a division of Toolrite Manufacturing Co., Inc. since March, 2009, is a global leader in the manufacture and service of wire forming machinery in the bedding, furniture and car seating industries. Our products can be found operating in factories throughout the world.
The cornerstone of our product line is wire-forming equipment for producing innerspring mattress cores. For example, our Model 300 Coiler is capable of producing 95 knotted springs per minute. It can be used as a stand-alone production machine or combined into our fully automatic Coil Transfer System. Our Coil Transfer System can produce over 200 mattresses in a single production day. Recently we have introduced new totally redesigned systems that broaden the range of products that can be made on our machines.
Our Zig Zag machinery for making sinuous wire is another example of our expertise and leadership. This machine is used in the production of furniture and automobile seat springs. This machine can be combined with a variety of optional components to nest or accumulate the finished products.
Additional product lines include machinery for box springs, Wire Straighteners used by all who want to straighten and cut wire, innerspring packaging equipment, including Crating Presses, Bale Openers and Roll Pack machines.
The Wells Company also provides contract-manufactured products. For example, the Wells Cam Shop provides high quality cams using the latest 4-axis CNC equipment and computer aided design tools.
After sales service is provided through personal visits for machine installation and troubleshooting. A comprehensive replacement and repair parts inventory supports after sales parts service. Extensive service part inventories are maintained in Europe and Southeast Asia. Wherever possible, mechanical and electrical upgrades are made available to existing users so that our machinery can continue to provide the best and most productive results.
